Sow & Grow Regenerative is a response to our rapidly changing society and climate-it has been created to serve a purpose to anyone who wishes to create and live a more natural way of life. One which is grounded in the laws of nature, a willingness to learn from nature and the desire to protect and nurture our future relationship with our mother earth. As our environment and society changes-we have the opportunity to observe, reflect and take action.
In permaculture the art of observation and reflection are vital to taking the right action. We live in a time when we are reactive rather than responsive-we can see this with mediums such as the mainstream and social media. We are here to provide solutions to the current problems we face today. Rising food and energy prices, as well as larger economic uncertainty are enough to scare and confuse anyone. We have felt like this too! This is why community is so important, because no man or woman is an island. We all have our own unique experiences that we can share with others and bring to life our own unique passions. Together we can create an alternative to the future we are being presented with.
Our purpose is to spread the message about regenerative and natural practices of living. Our main focus is on growing food and nurturing the land-however, every action we take in our daily lives has an impact on our environment, even how we interact with people, how broad our study of life is and how we think about ourselves in relation to these things outside of us. When we start with small changes we can have big effects.
Creation is within all of us; it fills our very beings from the day we are born and that will and desire to explore and understand is innate. Modern society has slowly eroded this connection with our source, nature, the soil, oceans and rivers and ultimately our own humanity.
I believe we are all born Stewards of the Earth and it is our right and freedom to enjoy it’s beauty and complexity and share and contribute to it’s health and abundance.
